How is it we can draft LB after LB but can't find a secondary or WR at all???

Well, jury is out on WR. Lynch/Shanny hadn't even really gave it an effort till this year. Corner is a little concerning because we have spent draft capital there. None if all that early besides Spoon, but still.

The knock on Greenlaw coming out is that he plays small. All finesse, lots of clean up tackles (hence why his tackle metrics look good). But not a lot of disruption or play creation on his own...always cleaning up other player's disruption. Hopefully he's got it figured out. We'll see. Would be nice if his practice play translates to the regular season.

I'll take cleanup tackles. Players miss a lot of tackles these days because they are afraid of getting flagged for an illegal hit or they're just out of position. That's when we need the cleaner.

Wouldn't be surprised if he did.

Well yeah considering It's the Preseason and the backup scrubs will be playing for them

He just talking about when the first unit OL is in there for them.

One or two series at most. Has Dre even locked up the starting SAM yet? Seems like the coaching staff still likes Malcoms Smiths left nut a little more

Lynch only likes him at the moment...once he gets injured, he'll begin to fall in love with Greenlaw and give him a fat ass contract.

Agree, and I think Greenlaw's strength, from his NFL bio is coverage. I'll take a coverage knockdown and clean up tackles instead of pass interference and personal defensless hit fouls. Ahmad Brook's personal fould slobberknockers still give me post traumatic slobberknocker syndrome.

Anthrax b***h.....I AM THE LAW!!!
Kid looks good, but he seems like a bit of a guesser. That's why he got in trouble on the over route earlier in the game.
Hmmm

Good tackler and against the run, but bites easily on play action and coverage needs work.

Very early but I think this guy will be a starter. Our weakest starting linebacker but seems to have good energy.
Not sure he knows what he's doing and not freakishly athletic enough to make up for his mistakes. But flashed a bit in hitting moving targets and should contribute in ST. Kind of reminds me of a Bowman-type project who could become more if he gets more athletic and learns his role the next 1-2 years. He might get in some snaps this years because IMO the LB depth looks weak.
Good instincts on the run and on the short yardage passes. He got burned a couple times on the deeper pass plays today though.

I recall one, but not a second.

The way he's played thus far - he deserves a starting spot.
