I don't see much drop off out there. He plays great in the run game, pass game and makes the right reads defensively.

I have to say, I'm a huge Qwon fan and feel like we are missing his energy, leadership, and experience out on the field...but Greenlaw is already looking like a veteran and has performed really, really well. I expected a big drop off. Another late round gem by Lynch and crew.

Nothing flashy but not getting torn apart either. That's pretty good for a rookie.

PFF actually has Greenlaw rated higher than Kwon this year overall.
Im sure they're missing the energy Kwon brought, but this D has too much talent to let the loss of one guy derail them.

Does anyone here have the PFF grades on green law this year?

If only we could draft WR and secondary as fortunately as we do LB.

What I like about Dre is that he rarely misses tackles. Sometimes he takes subpar angles and ends up in pursuit, but when he is able to make a tackle, he stops the runner. As much as I love Fred and Kwon, they sometimes miss tackles. Guy also has high football IQ. Definitely a steal in the 5th round.
Plus as an extra, a feel-good story as well, I know that girl's father is watching some of our games rooting for him.

Greenlaw has played very well over last couple weeks. Only going to get better with more playing time for sure

Agree, and the 49ers will have great depth next year with Kwon back. If Deebo and Emanuel develop and stick around next year - I don't know if they need to draft anybody high in the WR and LB spots. With Skule and Brunskill developing also, it seems like the OLine has decent depth. QB and RB has good depth too, and if Dwelly continues to develop, even the TE spot has some depth there too. I think DLine (because of Ford's injury/bad knees) and Sherman's age - that I'd look at DB and DLine in next year draft.
