Best tackle of the yr for my money. Absolutely text book perfect. And the timing wasn't bad either. Way to go Dre.

Yes the future is bright with this one

So if Kwon does come back, should he be in more of a backup role to limit his snaps? Hard to take Greenlaw off the field, but if Kwon can be like he was early this season, its hard to leave him off.

You play Kwon. Greenlaw is promising, but the difference between Kwon and no Kwon is easily quantifiable imo. Look at the schedule. See that we held our opponents to an average of 9.6points a game up until week 9, the game after Kwon went out. Since then we only held a team to less than 20 once and average 29 points a game surrendered. Now granted we played some baaaaad teams in the 1st half but imo our vulnerability over the middle looks similar to how it did last year before Kwon. Dudes a freakin stud and brings an energy to our D nobody else does.

Another guy who was probably only on the Niners radar at this point. Second straight WTF pick on day three.

Not Better value than picking up Mack from Bama! Great Story another bad pick tho

They need to study the film of Patriots drafts. It's obvious they don't know what they are doing.

He was picked too early , we passed up good interior Line prospects for a kid who wont ever play a down. We could have gotten him as a priority free agent. I like my linebackers to be able to HIT and thats one of his knocks

I'd bet a paycheck this guy isn't on the roster by this time next year.

You were nice to leave out names

How much did Warner's right hand/arm play a role in preventing the seahawk from falling forward? It seems like it was a factor.

I think Warner unintentionally might have helped him. Dre had a good angle but Warner pushed him off a bit. A stronger TE that could have made the difference between the td.

What do Devin Bush, Mychal Kendricks, K. J. Wright, Danny Trevathan, Sean Lee, and Thomas Davis Jr. all have in common?

wait for it...

longer...

OK -

They are all linebackers that are ranked BELOW Dre Greenlaw by PFF in their final rankings.

WR/OL should be looked at early IMO. I'm gonna say no to DL early.

Edge should be a priority. Blair will be out for a chunk of 2020 due to injury. Ford has chronic knee issue and plays limited snaps.

We should target edge with our 1st round pick with the idea to eventually replace Ford in a few years.

I forgot due to the lateness the injury, Blair isn't going to be in training camp, etc.

I don't think we have enough draft picks to look at edge in round 1, remember after round 1 we only have late round picks.

I think we can rent an edge in free agency for a year.

We need to protect our investment (Jimmy G), so I would think OT or even OG in round 1?

THIS!

Trade down. Worse case scenario we draft (25th) and the best is (32nd) and with either theoretically could emerge with a boatload of picks. See the 2019 Seattle Seahawks draft for example. If Lynch works the boards, we could come out of this with 10 to 12 draft picks, which seems excessive, but it is possible. If anything, we can also flip picks for future picks if we trade down enough. We can do enough to add another guard, a player that can play center/guard, another tackle, a TE/FB, a deep threat WR, an edge rusher, a linebacker that can play some edge rush, corner, and safety, and possibly a RB. That alone is 10 slots. Between UDFA and the draft itself, we can add a player in every single one of those categories. It's a pretty god spot to be in because out of all those players the only ones I actually expect that we would need to compete for a starting spot immediately are at guard. Everyone else just needs to compete and do their job when called upon.

I hate the disrespect paid to some guys when some players do well. Kwon is going to be Pro-Bowl/All-Pro next year. In Greenlaw, we have a role player that can start if necessary AND make big plays. Future is bright for Greenlaw. He should've been the game sealing guy in the first Seattle game as well.

Now that we got the #1 seed, I'm fine with how things worked out this year, even the loses.
wilson has to hate this dude

While I don't hold PFF in as high of regards as I used to, I'll take it. The kids been a gamer!

Remember why he slipped in the draft? He is only 6'0" and ran a 4.73 40. The NFL scouts didn't buy that he had an injured hamstring even though re was purportedly one of the fastest guys on his team. Their loss, our gain.
Also remember this? Saved a girl from a potential rape situation at a college party? What is there not to like about this guy? In a world full of lazy selfish punks, this guy is pretty awesome:
