I saw a stat i believe from pff that he only had two missed tackles on the season. That is crazy for a rookie.

Where's my money?
Ghost, not a good prediction there.

Why did you even think that? I liked him immediately

Draft analysis says he looks small and plays small. Too much hesitation. Needs to improve functional strength. Needs to get better at eluding blocks. Average pop in his pads as a tackler. Doesn't play with desired football IQ.
I guess he improved all those things. Either that or the scouts don't know what the hell they're looking at.

I'm taking the later, because Niners coaching staff got their hands on him at the senior bowl. I'm guessing that's when they know they will be drafting Dre.
His average pop in the pad stopped the Seahawks at the goaline cold. He seems like a quick learner.

I had a 3rd round grade on him and was excited the 49ers got him in the 5th.
Jk I had no idea who he was until the 49ers drafted him.

Lmao with you on that. Except as someone who doesn't follow college football until draft time and even then it's only the projected first rounders, I never know who anyone is.

Since Week 10, no linebacker in the NFL had more solo tackles than 49ers Dre Greenlaw.

Same here. I rely on NY85 and the other draft gurus to tell me which way is up and where the bathroom is.

I take it they are going after the rookie. But he was up to the challenge.

Ya, he could have ended up with the same stats Derrick Smith style...

I read that the Cowboys really liked him and were getting ready to draft him.

I remember the jokes about Derek "Cyclops" Smith and his 100+ tackle seasons where he got dragged along after big runs
All you need to know these weren't fake tackles is to see the last play of the season against Seattle one more time
Greenlaw was stopping people
