Hell of a draft pick.

Greenlaw is just outstanding. He is a heck of a player. He shows speed, awareness, tackling ability and he is just a gamer. To top it off he is a Seahawk killer. He plays his best against our best opponents. The long interception return in the first game and the hit at the goal line in the last game. You can always use guys like that. Also he continues to play well in the playoffs. He was a great late round pick. You need guys to come through in the later rounds. It's not all early round picks.
Raise your hand if you thought this guys would play significant, impacting role this year? I sure didn't

Proof that NO draft picks are throways, that mindset is BS. Not all picks hit, I don't care who you are. But you have to ALWAYS be looking for impact players any time you are on the clock. This guys went from a nice little feel good story to a stud football player on a stud defense on a stud football team.

To be honest, when he was picked during the draft, I was like who?

I was picking him in mock drafts around the 5th round. He is the kind of pass defender every team needs but no way I thought he would be this good year 1

I'm happy for Dre. Well-deserved. Props to the FO on another day-three gem.

Incidentally, did Debo get snubbed?

No, there was just a lot of WR with better numbers
What is funny is to read the first few pages of this thread. Pretty much sums up why the average fan doesn't know s**t about running an NFL team or personnel decisions.
Best!

We all never know but best day 1 take from the draft on Greenlaw? "Well, we always need special teamers" i am laughing so hard right now!

But seriously it feels good to have a front office make us wrong the OTHER WAY.

Those were dark days man......think I need a drink....
Coaching the Senior bowl helped us with this guy no doubt. I actually thought we would take Hanks from NMSU since he was on our squad and I think GLaw was with Gruden

A retrospective on Dre. They had no idea he would make a Bunz tackle for the West and the #1 seed
