I was thinking the same thing. Never know what to believe about injury timelines from this team. But I hope this is the truth. Ugh man ugh.

Varrett and Greenlaw are definitely going hurt this D.

I have confidence our backups will step up for Mostert and Greenlaw.

I agree with these sentiments

The wide 9 system has obvious weaknesses against the interior run.

But as we all know it's excellent versus the pass.

Not to mention it has a positive ripple effect throughout the whole defense specifically the linebackers in coverage.

Whoever they put in Greenlaw place I believe will perform admirably if they fix the interior run defense that was obviously a problem against the Lions especially when in coverage

And I don't have to mention anything about running backs when it comes to the name Shanahan.

That in itself is always going to work well no matter how broken it looks from the outside looking in😎

However I will say the corner playing opposite of Lenoir does have me concerned if Mosley is not ready
