I love Fred but "sure tackling" doesn't really apply to him. Greenlaw is the best tackler on this team and considering how bad the team was at tackling at times this year, I want Greenlaw to get at least the base downs at Will (best case) or Sam (if they think Azeez is better at will, which I don't agree with).

Have to disagree with your comment about Warner from what I've seen in him. When he's playing well, which has been the majority of his career until some subpar games for him this season, he's a pretty sure tackler. Not saying he's the best tackling LB in the league - Wagner unfortunately has been one of the top in that category over the past many years. But you don't get called one of the best (if not the best) all-around LB in the league if you're not also a sure tackler.
Heard Greenlaw went through a pre-game workout yesterday. Hope things keep progressing for him where he's back in there this Sunday.

This would be huge against the Vikings for sure

Agreed. Getting back more talent on D like Greenlaw would be great against a team like the Vikes and their playmakers on O.

Warner has been missing tackles often in his career. It's not too egregious, I agree, and way better than someone like Kwon. But, he does miss them, and it seems when he does they come in bunches. The Saints game in 2019 is a game where he misses multiple tackles that needed to be made.

Anyway, this isn't about Fred. He's an all-pro for a reason. My point is Greenlaw is bar none the best tackler on the team who, if he gets a grip on you, will tackle you.
This is super important against someone like Cook.
Sounds like Greenlaw will be back this Sunday:

I thought he was out for the season, too. Good to hear he's back.
