Gonna have to throw an extra TE in there to block (or Juice). Kyle's scheme rolls a ton with 2 TEs or 2 RBs, so that's not that horrible.

Joe is the man and still on top of his game, so it's a big blow. He might be able to be back for the Panthers game end of Oct (best case IMO) SO if SF can go 2-2 in that timespan, I'll call that a success.

This is another game that is very winnable now with what Pitt has going on. The fans need to show up and get wild.

Let's make it tough to play in Levi for a change We already got players asking fans to get intense 2-0 let's go!

Luckily we have two of the top blocking TE's in the league. Toilolo is gonna be attached at Skule's hip.

In the second half of the game yesterday, Seattle went to a quick passing game and Willow tore up their zone defense.

Seattle doesn't have some amazing offense IMO.

I haven't really paid attention to this guy, you guys that count frames on the preseason replay know about this guy... is he capable of the LT job?

Put a TE and a FB to his side. Mix up who you help with, so one can release into the route concept while the other blocks. Make the DE guess who else he has to beat. Place one TE at each side of the formation (or one TE on one side and Jusczyck as a wing on the other) and either leave the left TE to block with Skule or leave the right TE in, but slide protection toward Skule, so his help comes from Tomlinson. There are a LOT of ways to disguise how you are helping a LT in protection, and you can be sure Kyle Shanahan has come up with a lot of options that I wouldn't think of. As long as it's only Skule, and Kyle doesn't get impatient/greedy (leaving Skule on an island to get more guys into routes), protection should be fine.

Let's see what Skule got. Maybe looking at our answer for future LT.
