Toilolo was one of the top rated blockers last year, no reason to keep a weapon like Kittle blocking 24/7 when the next TE can do a damn good job too.

We should hope they focus all their efforts onto one guy and I hope they make it very obvious. We'll win big in that case.

He wont have to. Maybe some, but not all day. Itll be fine. If the rest of the offense does their job and focuses we can overcome the loss of one guy, albeit an important one.
Myles Garret gonna tear this dude a new butthole.
Skule did well when he was brought into the Cincy game, I thought. Small steps, but he didn't make a hash of it.

their whole Defensive line gonna rush his side only, who cares about the right side as long as we expose this guy.

So outta phase there.

I just watched all the snaps Skule took after he replaced Staley.

Obviously, he wasn't asked to do a lot but what he did, run blocking, was just fine. Of course the Bungles were tired and ready to go home, but he pushed them around pretty well. Took good angles. Got his feet tangled up a bit with a DL on a bubble pass out to Deebo where he was supposed to get out and block the safety who made the tackle. No PP assignments.

I think he'll be fine in pass protection. I mean going against Buckner, Ford or Bosa in practice should get him up to speed a bit on that side of the equasion.

As for scheme, I agree, Wrathman wrote up a good list of stuff for Kyle to do, to coundter Blitzburg's overloading Skule's pass protections.

It is good Kyle is a regular reader of the Webzone and picks up all of his ideas for planning his plays for game days here each week from our Webzone experts. Apparently, he is going to give special mention of thanks to some at the end of game press conference this week.

CC you are brilliant. You are right, if the defense intercepts a couple of passes and the 49ers go up by 7+ points, all Kyle has to do is run the ball down the Steelers throats. Loss of starting left tackle solved!

I didnt forget to mention it. It didnt have relevance. It was his first NFL game. Whether we were emphasising run or pass doesnt reslly matter. Shanahan is a good enough offensive playcaller to work around him.

To stress the point, I was only commenting in his play in the Cincy game when he got thrown in the fire.
