Skule gonna eat Garretts lunch for breakfast and his dinner for lunch.

I am just hoping he has settled down so his jitters don't give away needless penalties. I am also hoping Kyle schemes a little differently because the Browns defense will be gunning for him.

Perhaps the FBI can pay Myles a visit? Perhaps some unregistered dinosaur bones in his possession?

I'm just glad this game is at home and not on the road. At least hopefully our fans show up big again so he's not dealing with crowd noise and Garrett.
Why isn't Skule on here?

time for JS to drop his sack and grow into a man for MNF

we know doing all pro lists 4 weeks into the season. man s**t be going too far

From various reports, Skule was calm and focused throughout the game. He did have a couple of penalties but they were the result of simply getting beat by an experienced player. He held to protect his QB. Good. I'll take that over letting Jimmy get pummelled by some big fatty.

Kyle will give him so help but for the most part, he held his own far beyond what most people feared.
Bosa and Ford will get him ready for Garrett!! No problem.

Was surprised to see his honorable mention in the Athletic today after only one game. I hope it holds up

They both don't practice braddah lol
Being a Vanderbilt guy, you know he's gotta be smart. Those guys have to actually go to class and carry a high GPA to remain eligible to play. I just got done watching the coaches film on him from this last game, he actually played much better than I thought. That blindside penalty was complete trash, and the holding calls happened due to getting tired I think. I think we should run straight at Garret, get that dirty b*****d on his heels right off the bat.
This is the most important thread on the Webzone, in my opinion. I agree with Memphis9er. He's a Vanderbilt guy, which means he's smart. He sounded like it on KNBR the other night and his dad just recently retired as one of the top dogs in the FBI after 21-years of service. As it turns out, his father was appointed to his position by the likes of James Comey. He had been appointed to a previous position by Robert Mueller. Any of those names sound familiar to you?

He allowed one sack last year as Vandy's starting left tackle, and that one sack came against Kentucky's Josh Allen, the 7th overall pick in the 2019 draft (Jaguars). The one draft "knock" I read on Skule was that he "played too high" and could get easily overwhelmed on the next level (NFL). Doesn't sound like that's been a problem for him so far after replacing Staley.

He's really well-grounded. Not full of himself, but doesn't sound like he feels overwhelmed either. Says Staley and McGlinchey have "been there" for him every step of the way.

Way too early to tell, but this could be a draft day "steal" by the 49ers. Bill Walsh was very good at finding offensive linemen in the middle rounds of the NFL draft. It's possible that Shanahan and Lynch may have done the same with Skule. But, again, it's early.

The best outcome would be this: We don't hear his name mentioned once on Monday night.
Kinda worried about Skule lol
