I'm concerned b/c he's a rookie and tonight will be a huge test, but soft? That's a strong word. He acquitted himself well vs PIT.

That looks strong but it is a scheme failure. You cannot allow Garrett to set that wide and allow him to get a head of steam before anyone checks him.
In that case, the OT never had a chance.
From what little I saw of Skule against Pitt, power was not a problem. We'll know a lot more in about 6 hours.
watson had a good 4 sec to throw.

That said, I don't know how he stops Myles Garrett from simply running through his face.
i understand homerism. but alot of people are over valuing him but under valuing myles. hate to keep juice and kittle into block but that is how we may have to do this thing
It doesn't matter what we think, does it?

You are incorrect. Garrett beat McGlinchey on that play.

How is McGlinchey slumping? He got beat once by one of the top 3 edge rushers in football.

O line played well as a unit in both run and pass pro. As Shanahan would say was it perfect, not by any means but they did well against a really good d line. Skule played his ass off if we're taking into account he's a 6th rounder in first year year, in his second game. I mean some of you on here are a damn joke and clearly don't live in the real world. Would love to see how amazing some of you are at your own jobs and if you ever make a mistake.
For the entire night I give the o line an A-. I think we blew a couple protections and got beat only a couple times. Majority of the snaps were solid with great protection and formed a good pocket or running lane.

Joe who? j/k
The kid did a very good job tonight. He showed strength when he needed to. Took good angles on his blocks. It was also cool to see how many times he wound up on the second level, leading the ball carrier into the secondary.
It will be interesting to see how his grades come out tomorrow. This game was a big test against another good OL.
