I was so wrong about this kid. I was expecting a dramatic decrease from Joe. This kid has stepped up, and we don't even really notice him because he is not making negative plays.
Good stuff, Skule

Skule is playing better than anyone expected, let's hope he continues to improve and can be the heir to Staley when he retires. Cheap addition, would allow them to spend and draft in other areas.

McGlinchey was DAMN good last night. Sure he got beat by Garrett once but handled him every other time and was a monster in the run game. Don't let one play fool you in thinking he wasn't good last night.

Shanahan did a great job helping him and protecting Garoppolo. Its the exact opposite of what Sweet Home Alabama did for his team.

People here need something to complain about.

100% agreed. Absolute perfection would give some people nothing to talk about, except how much they doubt we could keep it up, lol.

His run blocking is really good. Pass blocking isnt there yet, but hes still doing good enough in that area where hes not an issue.

Good coaching, at the very least.

Not one play. He's been just okay this season. He has played more games than just last night. So far he's been our worst OL. That's not a knock. Just the way it is. Everybody is happy he is here and that we drafted him.

No sacks. Only one pressure that I saw. No hits. Pretty good PP, IMO.

FWIW, Skule has nearly the same rating as Trent Brown.

Teams are putting their elite edges against McGlinchey while Skule is getting help against secondary pass rushers?
