So Skule has only been beaten by Aaron Donald once in two weeks.

There are starters in the league that are playing well below him right now.

Sounds like Skule played reasonably well for another game. Good pick Lynch.

That was impressive!

That was impressive!

It was. And didn't bite on the lateral either.

Can't believe we won a football game with two backup OTs lol. This team is much improved.

That fact seems to have been glossed over by the TV commentators on NFL Network and ESPN.

The experience he's getting will help the team in the long run and in the upcoming draft.
PFF now ranks him the #28 OT in the league. Considering the quality of the opponents he has faced, that is darn good.

It definitely helps that he's on a cheap contract for 2 more years.

there are 64 starting tackles, so we have an undrafted free agent as a backup who is starter quality... well done Johnny L

Skule isn't undrafted (he was picked in the 6th round, 183rd overall)

Who? Never saw his name mentioned once as a draftable prospect. What a freaking waste of a pick.

This OZ block scheme seems to be pretty plug and play dating back to the rat. RB's and O-linemen seem to be pretty easy to find and don't necessarily need to be high draft picks. Not to take anything away from the skills these guys have, but seems their skills, while vital to our system, are not valued throughout the league...
