In Kyle's system, position is more important than power. It's just a matter of Skule *getting in position.* Example - screen pass or draw play, you don't need power, just the ability to get in *position* to let the DLine guy overrun the play or prevent him from getting back into position to stop the RB. No need for power in those kinds of plays.

You need power in pass blocking or you'll get tossed out the way like a rag doll like on his sack

He also willingly gave up his chest. That's a big no-no, especially against a powerful guy like Chubbs.

Pass blocking is also about feet and getting in position between getting your body between the DLineman and the QB. You can have all the power in the world, but if you don't have the quick feet to get in position, it ain't going to do any good.
Hopefully kid will continue to improve & get stronger as the year goes

I think he'll be fine. One year in the NFL weight room should cure those power issues.
He's clearly not NFL ready but I think he has a future as a very solid NFL backup

based off what I'm guessing he makes the PS, but I got no problem cutting him. Sam Young actually played well overall last night.

Got skull F***ED

"Dude gives good Skule"

- Entire Bronco's front seven
Definitely needs some experience & NFL strength to start on a weekly basis
CAN WE SEND HIM TO ARENA FOR A YEAR OR TWO???
well he is starting....I hope he's ready for a workload
Glad the bye is coming up soon - the extra time will help him and KS to game plan the difference w/oy Staley
He played pretty well. Strength was obvious. Kyle didn't run anything right at him but he did seal well on a couple of plays I focused on him.
