We used to the think the IR stash was the Baalke Special, but clearly it was the Paraag Special all along.

Giving a coach's son a chance to play game 4 and advertise himself for another team is a nice little sweetener on the Paraag Special too.

With his time missed the last month with the injury he was unlikely to make the team. No reason to risk him being picked up if waived on cut day, so might as well redshirt him on IR.

I wonder why they gave the guy a 3 year deal? He obviously doesn't have much of a chance at even making the this team and he'll end up getting released in a week or so. I know the money isn't guaranteed but why not 1 year instead of 3. Must be some weird financial thing.

Good

I like him enough to want to hang onto him but not enough to want him to beat out better CBs for a roster spot
