we have done to much of drafting for depth in my opinion. its not like we have great talent in certain areas. i think this kid will do more than push the starters. the way the guards have played,,, they are all vulnerable to losing their jobs in my opinion

I hope you're right. Would love if he's able to develop and crack the starting lineup. I'm one of the guys who's been banging the table to draft and upgrade our RG early. Hope this guy shows the coaches he belongs. We will see.. Let the competition begins!

If Norwell doesn't play significantly better next season that was a horrible signing. He was nowhere close to the all pro from before he got the big bucks.

This type of mentality... and hopefully ability is the kind of guard/OL that demoralizes opponents. When a team has a touchdown or two lead and the defense is starting to get tired... running behind guys like this is what puts games away, drowns the clock and causes defensive players to make business decisions on how hard they want to sell out on the next run play.

There is a lot to like about Reynolds, but he was obliterated a lot by Simmons in the bowl game this year.

Yes, this is precisely why I wanted people to pump the breaks on Reynolds a little. The whiff at 0:50 was just plain ugly. Marcus Martin-esque. Guy has great mobility but certainly needs some work. Can you fix the issues he has? I suppose time will tell. At minimum, I'd expect the team to attempt to keep him on the PS because of his run blocking ability.

Lol! Some of us are just messing around here and we know everything is stack against them as UDFA. Reastically, just hoping they develop and make it to a roster in the future as a backup. Anything more than that is gravy. I'm actually more hoping that a couple of OL hits the market that are worth going after the upcoming training camp battles.

Probably a good comp. I think Garland has a much better chance to make the roster.
