Skule has stepped up. Brunskill has stepped up. Give Garland a chance to step up.
According to your own logic, why wouldn't we adjust with a guy who has already stepped up as opposed to giving a guy a chance to step up?

because you're asking him to play a totally different position. That's why.

...but he had a very good game in the short time he was in against the Saints. One could make a case that the Saints' front four are better than the Seachickens.
Small sample size but the fact Benton kept him versus other options gives hope.
I'm good with giving him first crack at it but I'm pulling a Brunskill-Skule type switch the second he gets put on his ass. Brunskill is too good a player to leave on the bench for an inferior lineman.

My issue with it is he a good OG? it's a different position and I have no idea how often he's practiced there.

He can play guard. He plays guard in garbage time.

You don't know why 3 players f**ked up and you only brought up 1? You also picked out 1 play. Go watch bournes 2nd TD where he completely stonewall's a guy for like 10 seconds so Jimmy has all the time he needs.
Garland is backup for a reason but he's not some horrendous lineman. He's been beat a few times and will hopefully get better.

Lol Brunskill has played OG for us buddy. And you say that as if moving from RT to RG is so drastic, It's a downgrade and an easier position to play

Because Garland has been the backup Center exclusively the whole season and was the main center in TC.
It makes less sense to move multiple people around than to just give the guy who has been practicing at C the chance.

Yes, Kyle has already said he preferred to make only one change rather than two. However, when Skule struggled two weeks ago, Brunskill moved over from RT to LT and did well.
That having been said, moving a tackle in to play center, with the additional responsibility of making blocking calls, is another matter. Garland has had much more experience at that.
I expect he will do an OK job.
