Garland's big test in this Atlanta game will come when Kyle goes to 21 personnel. In that case, Grady Jarrett lines up in one or the other of the two gaps beside the center, depending on which side of the formation Kittle takes. Expect Kyle to continue to use some motion to confuse the Falcon front and make it easier for the OL.

In 11 personnel, Jarrett moves outside and Adrian Clayborn moves into the A gap. That is no picnic either.

Good POV and this is a good test for BG. I hope he passes with flying colors because this is only a warm up...

Besides him whiffing completely and allowing the pressure right up the middle on Garoppolo? I dunno.

You don't know why 3 players f**ked up and you only brought up 1? You also picked out 1 play. Go watch bournes 2nd TD where he completely stonewall's a guy for like 10 seconds so Jimmy has all the time he needs.

Garland is backup for a reason but he's not some horrendous lineman. He's been beat a few times and will hopefully get better.

This

Narrative based analysis thrives on single snap cut ups that do not represent the whole. It's peak draft Webzone take time apparently.
Good luck, dude.

Adrian Clayborn may not go on Sunday. He has been non-participant this week. Think of him as a Ronald Blair guy.

3 of our lineman got beat on that play. Not sure why Garland is singled out?

That essentially caused the sack forced fumble defensive touchdown for Seattle that was just as game losing of a play as the pass that slipped right thru Kendrick Bournes fingers and into their dbs hands for almost another touchdown.

Hope he holds up. Not so sure how he's going to do making calls at the LOS.
He knows the playbook and has worked with the first string when Richburg was out before.

He played well when he came in - not perfect but still pretty good.

I was impressed w/how he went and blocked on the 2nd level during running plays.

I feel with all he knows and with a full week's practice he be better than last week.

LOL damn. No worries, it seems John Benton has been like our Kocurek for the O line #GoodCoaching
We put up 48 points in the Superdome with him running the OL. I couldn't ask for much more in a last minute pinch
Looking forward to his film breakdown/performan from today

Seemed like Atlanta was man handling our interior oline

If that's the case, this isn't good.
