This just might be me getting older and I need to go back and re-watch...I could have sworn yesterday it looked like Garland was snapping a slower-paced ball back to Jimmy when he was in the shotgun, allowing the pass rush to get an extra step by the time Jimmy received the ball. Not sure it happened every play while in the 'gun but it sure seemed like a few times, which seemed to force the action just a little faster for the O.

Probably nothing and it's just me.

Do not use PFF for QB pressures. They constantly contradict themselves.

Not just you he was a beat behind most of the day even when Jimmy was under center. I kept waiting for a false start on him but it didn't happen.

Thanks, thought I might be going batty (still might be regardless). It's understandable in his first full game replacing Richburg.

That may have been some of it, however, there were a couple of times when Tomlinson and Person just got beat.

One thing that did puzzle me was that there were several times when Garland went immediately after the LB with no focus on chipping any of the DL on his way out. It may have just been that I was watching him more than Richburg in the past but I don't recall WR going up quite that quickly.

It felt like the entire O-Line struggled yesterday for whatever reason. Jimmy didn't look sharp either unfortunately.

Anyone else notice the shotgun snaps seemed much slower getting to JG. A friend of mine noticed it as well and texted me during the game. Maybe someone with coaches film access can check this out.
