But more optimistic.

I'm just an old guy that's gotten excited about a couple new players or the team's prospects in the pas only to be disappointed. I used to think that way when I would date a new woman. This could be the one. Then reality would set in. I just learned to be more patient and wait to see where things go. That way you don't get let down if it doesn't work out. The old saying is never get to high or too low. Still looking forward to the new season but I'm just not expecting too much. If we go 8-8 I'll consider it a big step toward making the playoffs in 2020. If we go 7-9 or even 6-8 I'm not going to start screaming for coaching and GM changes. I don't want to start over agin and have another rebuilding plan. I just need to see some positive improvements in certain players and in the team overall.
