Reports are that the offense stunk today. I'm ok with that. That's the downside of training camp practice...one way or another one side loses.

I'm confident if Jimmy is healthy that our offense will be able to move the ball and put up points. Our defense however is the unit that doesn't have Kyle Shanahan improving it with scheme. I'd rather hear that the defense is dominating and let the offense work out its kinks.

Now once the pre-season games and joint practices with other teams start up...then yeah, I'll hope both units look great.

I mean it's all pretty standard vanilla offensive plays right now.

And our D-line will be a problem for many teams, so our mediocre O-line will obviously have issues

We'll see during the joint practice. The defense might be overpowered.

Well that's an interesting route.

Looks like a deep whip route.

Looks like this but Taylor modified his route (pivot other direction). Maybe because Spoon had outside leverage instead of inside leverage like the CB in this clip?

Richie James seems to always be making plays all of camp so far

Barrows is the most level-headed of all the beat guys. And that is probably where we are going to be going into the season. Our D will keep us in games; it'll be interesting to see if our O will pick it up.

I'm not worried about the offense one bit...it's all vanilla play-calling TC/preseason.

Solid. We want legendary. Like we used to have.

I'll take legendary at other positions and be good with solid at guard

And there's a handful of youngsters trying to learn a new language (Kyle's playbook).

Defense always wins the first week for most teams, nice that its the case again cause it could be a big red flag if it didn't with how much has been invested in it.

On the flipside, expect the offense to start winning a few of the days next week after some time to get back together and gel. Could be another red flag if it's still struggling next week.

This! Defense is always ahead of the offense during TC and early on.

Yeah I'm not going to overreact. He looked great yesterday, not as good today...I'm confident he'll be fine long term.

QBs use training camp to work out the kinks. Work on chemistry, timing, etc...

I'm glad our defense is playing well. Offense will need to get up to the challenge and do its part but with Kyle there I'm confident we'll do just that.

You can find a ton of articles on QBs looking like crap early in training camp. Mahomes was throwing picks left and right during last year's training camp...he did ok during the season.

People will overreact but it's nothing new.

Tomlinson is solid like you mentioned. I really wish we could have drafted Risner and still got Deebo or Brown :/
