Not sure were in that league this year. They stuff the inside and we have some issues there. We should shift out of the wide 9 once in a while, just to change things up.

Good points. The major differences I see are speed and depth. Niners don't have any speed off the edge of our defense. And our depth just isn't good. Givens and Kinlaw are just bodies holding the point of attack. They don't come in and make plays. Ferrell and Drake aren't making a difference at all. It's easy to kill Wilks but the overall depth and speed are real issues.

Yes, we lack speed rush. maybe gregory can help there. We can switch up our reads on base downs to be ready for draws counters screens. Riddick blew up a few of Mcdaniels delay ideas yesterday by playing run first.

PHI DL is a beast, and I hate to say that.
Big night to showcase this talent. PUMPED
I forgot where I read the article that they're trying to reteach Gregory to get low on his rush. I don't know why. I like when he stands tall. Kinda like how Garret uses different angles.

YES... and fully agree.. Ganja Greggy is an 3-4 OLB by nature.. he's more like LT and DT was as a pass rusher.. you want him to make plays, he should rush the passer that way..

nevertheless, he is what he is.. a PURE PASS RUSHER.. not a true DE under 4-3.. but he can make plays!!

Can't kill Wilkes at this point. That would be Lynch. He let the edge depth walk in the offseason. If Purdy is going to struggle throwing in the cold (Philly) then we need more opposite Bosa
would we say DL > OL?

which would you rather have?

Eagles were 18th in pressure rate before last nights game. Dolphins were missing half their starting O line.

I saw him last week and the stats so far show he's covering the run and making tackles. I thin his length and bend lets him do this. He's not getting pushed aside and out of the play like Drake has been.

It depends on if you're pass or run centric. That said, there's nothing more important than protecting your QB. Protecting your QB >>>> Protecting your secondary.

But DL for me is 1B too.

I view it as protecting your QB, vs the ability of the other team to protect theirs, and run the football. Look at Garrett yesterday

edit: were you agreeing with me lol anyhoo

Really? A lot of the highlights I've seen of his success he seems to be starting in an upright position. The fast mfs like him can get away with going super wide or swimming and letting the DTs control the pocket collapse BOOM SHAKA LAKA trouble for all bwahahahaha

indeed to the bold

QB pressures are important and the Niners do a pretty good job of doing it. I wish they would get more sacks because they not only put the offense farther back but they fire up the team and the fans if it's a home game. I expected more sacks this year but so far it hasn't happened.
