anybody watching philly dline manhandle miami? The fins were downright scared in the first half. carter == monster. They look ready for the run, lots of smart plays. Not sure were in that league this year. They stuff the inside and we have some issues there. We should shift out of the wide 9 once in a while, just to change things up.

Good points. The major differences I see are speed and depth. Niners don't have any speed off the edge of our defense. And our depth just isn't good. Givens and Kinlaw are just bodies holding the point of attack. They don't come in and make plays. Ferrell and Drake aren't making a difference at all. It's easy to kill Wilks but the overall depth and speed are real issues.

Yes, we lack speed rush. maybe gregory can help there. We can switch up our reads on base downs to be ready for draws counters screens. Riddick blew up a few of Mcdaniels delay ideas yesterday by playing run first.

PHI DL is a beast, and I hate to say that.

Eagles were 18th in pressure rate before last nights game. Dolphins were missing half their starting O line.

QB pressures are important and the Niners do a pretty good job of doing it. I wish they would get more sacks because they not only put the offense farther back but they fire up the team and the fans if it's a home game. I expected more sacks this year but so far it hasn't happened.

We do lead the league in INT's though. And with the way they call roughing the passer on defenders for even breathing on the QB, I will take the INT's over the sacks every day of the week.
I see Bosa getting that Kardashian money

I would say that qb pressures are field goals and sacks are touchdowns. But actually its more lop sided. 3 sacks > 10 pressures.
Every team we face is now simply accounting for our wide 9 stuff.
Ferrell should not be allowed on the plane ride home. He does absolutely nothing, which is exac What I said.

We need more passrush to even compete with the Eagles, let alone win.
I mentioned it a few weeks back too.... fuken nothing........

300 Mil Dline.

They don't look elite at all. Maybe scheme or defensive play calls. They have enough good players.
Did AA retire? Haven't heard from him since last season.

Always said we should have kept Buckner over AA. Hell I would take Buckner over Hargrave. Buckner was the heart of our defense.

We've run that for 6 years. That isn't the issue.

It's absolutely the scheme.

Yeah I agree. They have enough star players to be much better than this.

.. and why would KYLE not keep AA ??
I absolutely DETEST Nick Bosa. What a conman. He absolutely robbed the SF 49ERS.

He's become the defensive linemen version of Mike McGlinchey. Bosa is always pancaked on his rear end. He can't beat solo blocks. Crook.

TJ WATT
MYLES GARRETT
PARSONS
MAX CROSBY
HASSAN REDDICK
BRIAN BURNS
Bosa doesn't belong on the same planet with these guys.

He looks like Tank Carradine.
