what has happend to this DL? absolutely loaded with talent yet producing the least amount of pressure wev seen in years. what happend?????

is this intentional? are all these guys past their prime? are they just coasting an not trying until the playoffs?(i pray for this)

I'm glad Ferrell is not hurt, but I still think he's a significant downgrade from Ebukam and Omenihu. I feel like Jordan Wills would have had a similar impact without having to pay as much.

And I'm glad we picked up Hargrave this offseason, but he's not a run stopper and we don't have backups who can rush from the inside like Arden Key and Omenihu could.

This DL is very thin and Bosa hasn't gotten home like we're used to seeing.

When the starters are all healthy and on the field it looks great, but that hasn't happened very much.

I hope they bring in Jordan Willis next year. Can play special teams and get produced just as much as any of our depth guys this year. Then invest some late picks in some run stuffers as well as a DE with the versatility to play inside and outside.

we have more sacks than last year i don't agree the DL is thin but the depth isn't as good as last year for sure. Since we got Chase young we are averaging more sacks too we had Chase young for half the season if we had the whole season we would have 56 sacks for the season (compared to the current total of 48) which would be good for 3rdin NFL

Well that's what I'm talking about, the lack of depth compared to previous seasons.

And besides the Young, Hargrave, Armstead, and Bosa unit, we're probably averaging more sacks due to the fact our offense is getting big leads.

Well that's what I'm talking about, the lack of depth compared to previous seasons.

I agree our depth isn't as good this year. I think its important we find a true run stuffing DT to rotate in behind AA. Can never have enough edge rushers either.

If the lead holds, the 49ers will be playing the Packers, which means another game where it'll be imperative that the 49ers force Jordan Love to stay in the pocket by: 1) Rushing as a unit 2) Staying in their rush lanes 3) Squeezing the air out of the pocket 4) Not rushing past QB's drop. Having AA back for this will be massive.

Packers run game has played well too the past 3-4 weeks. Aaron Jones has 100+ yards rushing all those games.

time for our 300mil+ Dline to take it up a notch in the real season!

Gonna need a huge game from our DL. Armstead an Joseph day will really need to stabilize the middle of that line an not let their OL push us around in the run game.
