Hargrave is real good but not worth all that cash. Kinlaw gots to go (played well enough in playoffs for payday)
We need a real space eater who moves the pile and requires to double teamed most of the time. I don't mind Ferrell and Drake for depth, but if they move on from Chase, 49ers better find more help on that side.

Sure did. Though again how come Chris Jones can make a play to change the game and nobody on our defense can?
Fair question. Probably because they don't let Bosa have a free rush in the A gap.
Yeah, Jones played great, but our D-line actually had to go through a human being to get to Mahommes. Chris Jones on the other hand

If they can find and trade for Samson Ebukam and Charles Omenihu, surely they can draft and develop those caliber of players using a couple day 3 picks.

Should we look at signing Chris Jones?
Would be a gamechanger

Too expensive. He held out this year for a bigger contract. And he will be 30 heading into next season. And I think he wants like a 4 year deal or something. We already spent enough money on the Dline.

We can let them all walk minus Bosa who we are stuck with.
Chiefs will let Young walk but he will be too much $. Also with the current era of holding calls evaporating in big games, Dline is not as much of an impact as it used to be.
Mobile QBs like Mahomes, Allen, Jackson, are who we will be dealing with the next 10 years.
Adjust for it.

Yeah that's s DL was the biggest surprise for me. All that money spent and they should have led the league in sacks and pressures.

Best thing that can happen is Jones signing anywhere but KC. I don't care where, just get that man on a team with a chance of tackling Mahomes.

The DL needs to be reloaded. Edge needs young talent. The interior DL needs way more beef inside. They need to add one or two guys whose strength is run defense. If they go into 2024 with Armstead and Hargrave as base IDL, it'll be another long season of s**tty run defense.

Sure did. They pushed the around the KC o-line every down, against the pass and the run. They would have continued to dominate in the second half if Greenlaw didn't get injured.

Yes. I hope they can do it again.
