Can trades be made at any time? This would alleviate a lot of the problems with JH gone now and help out the run D

I don't think we can ever say this team didn't address D-line. Dline and RB have had an enormous amount of resources poured into it.

Yeah but they are all one-dimensional

The difference is with RB they have spent draft capital outside of CMC. For the d line it's been a ton of FA signings. Bosa and Dj Jones are is the only good d lineman this regime has drafted. Sadly they just spent a ton of money on d linemen and the results are pretty rough. Not sure how it gets better with Hargrave out.

Have you forgotten Thomas and Kinlaw? Along with Bosa, that's 3 of the 7 first round picks the team has had. Then to add the money spent in free agency you brought up, trades for Jordan Willis, Charles Omenihu, Randy Gregory, and Chase Young, I'd say no team has invested more in Dline. We have invested every type of capital you can invest in Dline.

One of the issues some fans have had for years is the obsession with Dline while neglecting Oline.

Ironically I was just coming to post this as a possible suggestion. It would be a good move if Denver is willing to trade him.

And give up what? Any high draft pick and fans would be complaining next year that we didn't draft an O lineman or LB they wanted. Without good LBs there are going to be more opportunities for teams to run on the Niners.

I wouldn't mind DJ Jones. Why not?

Apparently Denver is quietly listening to trade offers. I'm no cap guy, but In 2024, Jones will earn a base salary of $9,490,000, while carrying a cap hit of $12,958,334 and a dead cap value of $2,988,334. Denver wouldn't do us any favors, but I'd think a mid round pick might do it. Other teams want Jones too, Green Bay and Cincy. Denver would drive up the price to highest bidder. Jones hasn't been too productive there, but with Kocurek he could look better.

Because this isn't Madden, and the Broncos need to be willing to part with him lol.

Quite honestly, I'd rather just reset the damn defense. Make it an OL and defensive draft. Get young guys out there and let them play. Of course I'm all for keeping Warner, Lenoir, and Bosa long term, but just rebuild the damn thing which means we need our picks. No more vets who may know what's going on but don't have the athletic ability of the health to keep up. You'd also have leaders at every level.

I'm curious as to where they think Evan Anderson is at this point. Same for Robert Beal. It's too bad Davis can't stay healthy.

sounds like they want to move Yetur gross Matos inside now
I doubt we get Jones from Denver but that would be amazing.

In reality, we probably just call up McGill for the millionth time.
