I was very concerned when I saw that TJ magill was promoted and not Evan Anderson. I knew Conner was going to run through the center of the D. I guess they were wanting a quicker tackle to chase Murray but I felt stopping Conner and plugging the middle was more important.

I'm no expert and I don't know s**t, but the team should just take a leap of faith and promote Anderson to 53 and play him. I understand he's raw, but the upside is appealing.

I agree. Ever since they went away from the big body lineman like Buckner and Jones even Armstead was massive and hard to move off his spot they have been horrible at stopping the run. I think they can still accomplish the interior pressure with Anderson it will just be more of a power bull rush type.

They should've been up playing on base downs

Last week we got a glimpse of how the dline can really impact the game for the good. This week we got a glimpse of the opposite. The dline struggled to get pressure in the backfield yesterday. I can appreciate that Fred and Bosa seemed to get their teammates charged up last week but the dline can't continue to disappear for long stretches in games and we expect to win.
NE is brutal offensively. Last game told us nothing.
Both Bosa and Floyd do nothing when it matters and the middle of the defensive line cant stop the run.
Pats or no pats. The point was they aren't going to play much better defensively until the dline can stop disappearing for long stretches.

Did Kalia Davis even play? I didn't hear his name once or see him at all. Dude Seemed invisible.

the article says he played 19 snaps, I only really noticed him out there once and he did have a nice pressure, although Murray made a play anyways.

I feel like a terrible Campbell and slowed by injury Warner are making Dline look worse than it is. They occupy Blockers so the backers can clean up the ball carrier. I couldn't be more disappointed in Campbell, the fact that Winters hasn't taken his spot is really concerning. I really like what I've seen from Collins, and definitely would love to see more Evan Anderson.

Might need to get someone else to determine who to draft. We aren't good at drafting or signing dline players.

This is some s**tty ass rush lane integrity on the final play. Obviously, the guys are gassed, but the DL must maintain discipline to avoid this from happening. Maliek Collins is the overlapper on this play, which means he is the safety valve. It's his job to overlap and fill the lane vacated by Yetur. I also don't like Yetur selling out to slip inside and getting completely washed out. I think it's better to go power here, stay in your lane and prevent Geno from going anywhere. But who knows how much flexibility Kocurek gives the 2-way guys inside in these scenarios. I think if he stays squared, Leonard Floyd might've gotten home.
.@Seahawks @GenoSmith3 takes the Seahawks 80 yards in 80 seconds to defeat the @49ers and bunch up the NFC W for a 3-Way tie for 2nd place. #BaldysBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/3Hf8EEc9mA
