It's nauseating thinking Rams got two probable future pro bowlers in Kobie Turner and Jared Verse just in last two years. Meanwhile the last decent dlineman 49ers drafted was... Bosa in 2019 and the only other defensive lineman drafted worth a damn by this regime was DJ Jones.

Kinlaw, Drake Jackson and Sol Thomas ending up huge busts is pretty horrid if you think about it

The Rams have spent 22 draft picks on their defensive line since 2017. The 49ers have spent 10 picks. Lets not act like they didn't miss on 19 of those picks.

Rams have drafted fairly well of late and it shows. They are screwed the moment Stafford retires.

They kinda mimicked our drafts a little but they've gone without a 1st round pick for for 7 years prior to the 2024 draft. They've had some dismal drafts as well.

I guess they kind of prove if you have a top 10 QB and a good coach you always have a "shooters chance" in winning.

Agreed. imo football team building is: find that QB -> O-line -> D line (stop the run). There is nuance there, but imo all the best teams win in the trenches and have good qb play.

It is wild how awful the Niners have been at drafting DL considering how much importance they put on the position group.
So we got Soloman Thomas, Kinlaw, Bosa, and Drake Jackson as early round guys. That's not nearly enough guys to drafted for your trenches and only includes on pass rusher. Secondly a monkey would've been smart enough to draft Bosa at #2. DJ Jones is the only late round guy that they have hit on for the d line. And they haven't en able to replace him. Exactly who is/was scouting and evaluating these dudes is a major isissueThis pretty much explaons why these idiots traded away an all pro defensive lineman. They suck at evaluating them. They have spent the last 2 years building a d line through free agency and it's been a failure.

Verse fell into their laps. Dude had no busy going 19th overall.

They had 24 picks the past two yrs lol. Gonna get something from that.

let's see how the do vs Philly. Overall the Vikings OL is subpar. O'Neil is their only legit lineman with Darrisaw on IR.

Well they've also had AA/Buckner/Ford/hardgrave/young etc on the team as well.

without question the DL is in need of a massive renovation. Thankfully this is a pretty good draft for that.

This is exactly what the 49ers need to do. They need to shoot as many shots as possible to fill out the roster.

Anyone suggesting a trade up can't be taken seriously.

ut oh - Phoenix has a man crush on Graham.

AT 11 a good player should fall. Now what if we are offered to trade down a couple of spots? Maybe a few times?

i don't think it needs to be massive but yeah we need some better depth.. the D kept us in a lot of games early.

The defense had to be on the field more possessions to cover for the offense's mistakes of turnovers, missed FGs, not converting on 3rd downs as much.

Trade up if the right guy is there

Trade up from 11 to get Graham or Stay at 11 and trade up from our 2nd pick to get warren

End up with :
1. Graham and BPA
2. Best LT/RT and Warren

He has Howard from Ohio State. Wonder how high Jaxon Dart goes.
