He has Howard from Ohio State. Wonder how high Jaxon Dart goes.

Not complaining, but what blackmail would we have to pull to get Graham at 12?

Yeah 49ers are now picking one spot up to 11th.

Though those top 5 picks would be pretty sick.

Graham might possibly be gone by 11 but the need persists. Who is the next top NT or DT available if so.

if Mason is gone, then you have to switch and get the best LT/RT.. and if that is gone.. we have to go BPA

we can't go for 2nd best positions at 11

I've heard this is a deep draft at DL. For me it depends if what is available at 11 is better than what is currently on the roster or in FA. This team needs two interior defensive linemen. A NT type that is selfless at clogging it up and a DT type that creates continual push up the middle.

I agree, also hoping that Evan Anderson can fill one of those roles in his second year. There will be some major risers at DT after the combine and senior bowl. It's a great year, plenty DL to choose from

This DL class LOOKS to be stacked.

We just better make sure the guys we find are the right guys, for our scheme fit but also culture fit.

If we can walk away with some of these guys I'd be very happy

Mason Graham - pipe dream
Walter Nolen
Kenneth Grant
Derrick Harmon
Deone Walker
Jordan Burch

Abdul Carter - pipe dream
James Pearce Jr
Mike Green
Princely Umanmielen
JT Tuimoloau
Donovan Ezeiruaku
Jack Sawyer

Really didn't see much from him. We always hope these lowered round d lineman make an impact and they never seem to, Kalia Davis has shown nothing

Anderson is and got penetration.. can easily be a good DT with more experience.. but we can't be satisfied with that.. need more guys

I'm hoping we can add Tedarrell Slaton in FA

He showed more as a rookie than DJ did when he was a rookie. Obviously him keeping in shape this offseason and working on his craft his paramount.

Until they have the combine no player is a pipe dream. There are always some guys that move up and get drafted too high which means a good player slides back. In a typical year when the Niners re drafting near the end of the round it doesn't matter much since the top 15 or 20 rarely fall to #31 overall. At #11 there is going to be someone there that the Niners need. Maybe 2 or 3 guys instead of just someone that's left over after the top guys are off the board.

We'll see. Long way to go before the draft and bunch of things to shake out.

I would hope/imagine that Sanders and Ward go top 10.
Travis Hunter is a guarantee.
That's 3 picks accounted for.

Even if another QB manages to skyrocket into the top 5 you're looking at 6 other picks that have to go off the board for one of those guys to be there for us.

Will Johnson, Malaki Starks, maybe WR needy team goes with Tetairoa McMillan.

We'd need some OT to climb into the top and that's a need for us as well so not ideal. Maybe one of the other DL prospects can murder the combine and get some Trent Baalke like GMs to jump on them.

Just hard to imagine two proven studs at key positions wouldn't go top 10. Especially when you don't have guaranteed studs at OT or QB.
Saleh will bring back Thomas and Kinlaw for our run defense when hes back here, so don't go DL early.
I've played around with the mock draft simulators and we can (and should) completely rebuild our DL in this draft

If Graham or Carter aren't there at 11 trade down and get extra 2nd rounder

There are at least 6 quality DT and we should grab 2 of them with our first 3 picks

I have grabbed both Kenneth Grant (339lbs) and Deone Walker (348lbs) multiple times when I trade down from 11.

I would build a brick wall at DT like the Ravens had with adams and siragusa side by side
