Like I said in another thread, they'll look way better against Sam Darnold and Daniel Jones. But it doesn't really mean anything. We know they're pretty good at stopping pocket QBs. And they struggle against mobile QBs (most defenses do).

Unfortunately, all of the Superbowl contenders will have a dual threat. That will be something they need to overcome in the coming years.

Had one decent play defending the run. He was otherwise stone-walled (often 1v1) and was pancaked on at least one play. A poor debut overall.

Welcome to the NFL. Didn't really notice DJ either today. Was out of the rotations considering how he was hyped to pick up the run D slack.

Run defense looks like dog s**t, screw signing a WR, I wish they would sign Marcell Dareus!!! One of the best run stoppers in the game, but I think he wants to much money.

DL was definitely getting home. AA blasts through the double. Unfortunately, Kyler Murray is like a cockroach.

Saleh and Kocurek were proactive in dialing up slants and scrapes to shore up the interior run defense and give the Jets OL trouble. Last year it would take them an entire drive to adjust.
