Sad part is buck was just coming into his own. Still hard to to grasp some days. but oh well

DL is always stealing my topics such at pass protection and injuries. Now he's on to moneyball. Haha. Love that guy.

Hopefully Ansah and Hyder can tap into whatever they had going during their best years in Detroit. If both were at least 6-8 sack guys, we'd be in good shape.

If there's anything we've learned from the past 2 years is that any DE/ER you plug into W9, plays his best ball...except for Solomon Thomas, of course.

That D line hinges on a healthy DJ Jones now imo

Unfortunately he's another talented player that can't seem to stay healthy more than a couple of games at a time. So far of the 49ers better players, only Fred Warner has been an iron man

Alex Barrett and his one career NFL tackle are gonna bust out! WOOOOOOOOOO! E-L-I-T-E ... I mean, maybe he can carry over something from his AAF time. His final stat line there over 7 games was: 15 tackles, 5 TFL, 2 sacks, 7 QB hits, 2 PD

Unfortunately, despite his size at 6-2 255, he is not fast... Ran a 4.95 at his pro day.

Need to add a puss rusher desperately....it's the only glaring weakness that'll help propel this team for a deep run

Until then - gonna be really hard putting away teams when we have a lead.

Any thoughts on Carlos Dunlap? Demoted by Cincy. Will be cap casualty, should be available for trade. Better than anyone we got right now who's healthy. Missed 4 games since 2012.

No pass rush and after watching the Sunday night game thank goodness we got some outstanding LB's. Our DL forgot to stop the run.

Haven't watched much of their games - but KS just said don't expect trade deadline to be like last years...sounds like won't be buyers

Frickin D-line needs to help out Hyder rushing the passer. Armstead seems invisible without Buckner, WTF is going on with him?? Really hope Lynch works out a trade for a DE or signs Clay Matthews!!! DO SOMETHING!!!

Really need help on the pass rush. Hyder is the only consistent one putting pressure. AA is playing well but not up to par with the 17 mil a year he just got, if you're getting paid that amount of money you should be pressuring the QB a lot more than that. DJ Jones flashes here and there but dissapeared for the most part. Kinlaw is raw and is slowly coming along, but they need people to get to the QB now and consistently. Can't really count on Jordan although he had some good plays. With Bosa and Ford on the field, the QB has a shorter timer on their mind to go through progression. Now without one or both of them, QBs have all day to pick the defense apart, DBs can't cover forever, someone will eventually get open. This DL might have a chance to be good down the stretch but it's just not enough right now when they need it the most for the gauntlet schedule. The sole strength of the defense all of a sudden became one of the weakness 6 weeks into the season and it's not good.
