Defensive Line Thread

In our last SB, the Chiefs were able to romp in the last seven minutes because our DL was gassed. Not happening now with this depth.

Hurst is a big ?, high ankle sprain can liger all season if he trys to play instead of rest

Ford - Jones - Kerr - Bosa

What I like is that there are different types of rushers at DE and DT. Ford and Ebukam are quick and fast, with AA and Bosa having power. At DT, Givens and Hurst are quick while Kinlaw and Street have power. Hopefully it's tough for opposing OLs to continue adjusting mid drive.

Well when you consider that 31 other teams all have problems at OL depth, and injuries are going to happen…this 12 pack (when Hurst back) is going to be UGLY for any OL. And the 4 some above…ouch…toonder…they bring toonder and lightning.

Honestly , Hero, you could put another 4 or 5 guys subbed in there. After last yr when one game we started ONE starter DL, this is like a trip to Tahiti. Dang that looks awesome.

the real benefit will be at end of games where everybody is worn out…but not our DL, even with a couple injuries. Awesome, awesome, awesome.

So far the AA Ford combo looks good. Street and Bosa both have looked good. Run defense though. Ugly DJ and Kerr got washed out a lot in the 1st half.

Overall good

The run D wasn't what it should be.

Not many mention it but the Lions' OL is a good unit and will get beter.

I was disappointed in both the run defense and lack of consistent pressure on Goff today. It'll likely take both Bosa & Ford a few games to get their chops back. Also have to get the middle shored up...without Kinlaw & Hurst we were vulnerable to the Lions' run game. I really didn't see any adjustments by Ryans in the 1st half. They'll have to be better vs the Eagles.
