Not a good look for Kerr. Also, who is that guy and how he got the all22?
edit: ahh dude is from Europe where the NFL loves their fans

I've seen multiple posts this off-season with some version of we could replace Kinlaw, Armstead and Ford with Kerr, Hurst and Key without much drop off. 🤣

and that was without Kinlaw. Pitt and the niners are definitely both in the top 3 with TB

Yeah Bosas jersey was ripped. RIPPED.....and then part of his jersey was missing The league officials need to get together and reverse the trend since the niners chiefs SB (except of course when playing vs Brady in last years SB)

and Kerr was the highest graded defensive player on Carolina last year. Their run D wasn't that good but still a big downgrade from Kinlaw. Detroit would of had so much less success running the ball vs Kinlaw.

It's funny people say not to overreact to Kinlaw missing only a few games but it's a big deal. There is the proof
The line didnt seem to be the biggest problem in the run D. Not an expert but the lineman seemed to shoot their gaps like they are supposed to but the LBs had the responsibility of reading 2 gaps... and either hesitated or guessed wrong. Probably just getting acclimated to new scheme responsibilities. But looking at the highlights, the LBs werent crashing gaps like in the past... seemed like they are tasked with the 2 gap responsibilities and just got ran over while trying to figure which gap to go for and caught flat footed rather than going downhill.

49ers play a 1-gap scheme across the board. This is from one of Kocurek's former players, who was responding to our very own NC after being asked about Kris Kocurek's scheme upon arrival to SF:

Does that address the linebackers? Just saying on those long runs the LBs seemed to be caught diagnosing the play so that the guards were already on top of them rather than running downhill. On a couple of those long runs you could see LBs jumping the wrong direction rather than filling the hole but flat footed all the same.

Yes.

Where is Dj Jones but most important where was Armstead arent they the "Inside guys"?
First clip is of Warner calling out Greenlaw for missing his gap.

im in the middle of watching the condensed game for the eagles vs falcons

i have to say either the eagles have the best OL of all time or the falcons pass rush is the most pathethic i have ever seen because the pocket Hurts has almost every play is ridiculous

i think if our pass rush shows up eagles will have a tough time moving the bal.

Also you can see early on eagles ran a lot of RPO plays which our D and coaches will be ready for because its very similar to what we had Trey do in preseason

Yeah and their OL was moving the DL backwards about 4 yards on every run too. Our DL better be ready.

im not too worried about that. Our interior run D gave up some runs early on because of the wide 9 formation once we moved inside we were fine

Also the eagles strength in running game is outside runs and i think we do a good job containing the edge but i do agree this OL is better than the lions for sure
