Finding matchup problems to exploit. I dig it. Buckner was consistently doubled. Bucs could only do so much to protect when everyone not blocking Buck was losing their one on ones.

Finding matchup problems is totally good. However we know Armstead is wasted on the edge.

To be fair... I think it was a screen. But ford is so fast I think now it's hard for the QB to get off long developing screens. Very happy Winston decided to throw the ball even though it wasn't open.

It was a screen, but it was played perfectly. Bosa and ford beat the T to the spot. armstead stopped any step up or dirt throw, buckner with help from the linebacker(?) Covered the receiver.

I think winston did an ok thing, he threw it to an empty space in the "area" of a receiver. Just spoon read the play and broke on the screen and ran into the ball.

The way that play worked out, it was going to be 2nd and 20 by sack, grounding, or hitting an olinemen.

The announcers were saying that we're just missing a big body on the line. Seemed to imply that was why TB ran through so easily.

Ronde Barber should never be allowed to call a TB game for Fox. That was comically absurd how much of a homer he was
I loved the push we had. We were collapsing the pocket from every angle. Looks like a dominant front 4 rotation and it makes the defensive backs look great! Ford boss and Buckner could be the best defensive front ever ever seen. Our backups were our starters last year. Great depth! Love the rotation and easing Bosa into pass rushing situations

Bro that was annoying af. I wouldnt say he was really being anti-Niner but he was definitely pulling for the Bucs. I usually dont get bent outta shape over announcers but that was blatant. I woulda definitely liked more neutrality.
The D Line looked better then I expected this early in the season.

Bosa looked more NFL ready then I expected ( as many on here spent the entire summer telling us would happen).

Ford was used more effectively then I expected him to be used.

The is that old adage that you cant judge a secondary with out looking at the D-Line first. We knew we had some length in the secondary, but with the added pass rush they were shutting down WRs left and right.

Yeah it was pretty bad. We were all laughing about it because it was so blatant.

I love Blair but my goodness, I don't know if he's still hurt or what. He looked incredibly slow and ineffective today. Hate to say it, but kind of feel like maybe Moore would've been better.

I didn't really notice Solomon much. Didn't see anything bad but didn't see anything good either.

Bosa - good
Ford - good
Buckner - good
Armstead - good
Jones - OK
Day - neutral
Thomas - neutral
Blair - not so good
Taylor - terrible

Agree with this and this was first time i saw DJ not look great, Day be so so, and Blair not play well. Julian was really disappointing. Man, you take Nicky B and DEE out of this lineup and we lose this game going away. Solly, i never really got a read on. Wasn't outstanding but didnt see any screw ups. He played okay.

The most surprising thing ? Was by Nick. What was it? It was he busted thru or around the OLs, and had a straight shot at Winston, and then got faked out of his jock strap. I bet he knew those two or three times were sacks...and he missed them all. Who did i think that was? Arik..like when he gets there and then the QB gets away.

Somehow i bet Nick learned from that and i bet he doesn't get faked out very often again. But it was surprising to see our best ER put on the same show that Arik has done. It just goes to show you that it isn't as easy as it looks. Of course, Nick then went on to put on a bunch of hurries, some hits, tackles and then the sack. Arik hasn't learned that ...but there is hope. My guess is that playing next to Bosa and Dee is going to make our DTs way better pass rushers. As run stoppers... maybe it was the wide 9...but we got gashed (not gassed) early on before the heat hit...and it was right up the gut on wide 9s.

No question, i love that DL set for passrush...but some change has to be made on running downs. Way too much yardage given up the first half right up the gut.

We were also missing our top MLB with Kwon getting ejected
Played good, Lets hope they start playing great from now on.
