Day, Taylor, and Thomas all had better games than week one. Thomas had some good penetration against the run and some good hustle plays, including the one sack. Taylor had a nice pass batted down that prevented a potential first down pass. Day seemed solid in both facets.
What we gonna name these guys?

The phalanx?

LEOnidas and his men?

Gold diggers?

Boom squad?

Gold rush is already taken the the cheerleaders

Power platoon?

The thick red line?

I'll have to think on this

going back and watching the tape on some of these sacks....its crazy to me that even AA has two sacks right now after two weeks, when he couldnt even sniff this last year at this time.

You gotta wonder....if it was just bad coaching last year? It shouldn't all be because of Bosa and Ford.....

Maybe Zgonia was just really s**tty.

Ensatsu and NC, I think it was bad coaching. And it may not have been Saleh's bad coaching.

With this many resources used for the D, you and I could probably game plan.

But he's meshed his system well with Kocurek and Woods, no doubt!

I love this DL. They just keep coming.
Ford, Buckner, Armstead and Bosa called the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse in the game thread. We need to make this nickname stick.

Ford - Death - Because his swiftness is lethal

Bosa - Destruction - Wrecks all in his path

Buckner - Pestilence - Plagues opposing OL

Armstead - Famine - Always hungry
They played lights out!

Mega pressure against one of the better OLines in the NFL.
This DL is naaaaaasty. Imagine if Thomas was actually worth a damn.
Baker Mayfield was under pressure on 14 of his 26 dropbacks last night (53.8%). When under pressure he was 1-10, 25 yards, 2 INT, and a passer rating of 0.0. #49ers
