Personally, I want one of the following, and he wouldn't cost a pick or as much as Za'Darius IMO.

Yannick Ngakoue
Leonard Floyd
Markus Golden
Justin Houston

Sure. Houston is a little old.

Sure. Houston is a little old.

And he still produces and would be a situational guy like graham last year with PHI

I really wanted Melvin Ingram who is no longer available.

Not sure what the story is on Ngakoue - is this his 4th team in 4 years or close to it?

Don't know a lot about Golden so can't offer an opinion.

Floyd has always produced.

Tough call.

Surprised we didn't make a play at Z. Smith. Sure he would be a 1 year rental unless you extend him but Browns didn't give up much. They reworked his deal to give him ~$12 mil this year. I would of done that trade if I'm Lynch. We would need to free up a couple more million in cap space but easily doable. I wouldn't even mind the 1 year rental even if we didn't extend him. We are in win now mode with this roster

Browns get:
Za'Darius Smith
2025 6th-round pick
2025 7th-round pick

Vikings get:
2024 5th-round pick
2025 5th-round pick

Ya one knock I have on this FO is that we don't really go after "mercenary" players much.

I kinda like that they don't do that. They put emphasis on growing their own talent, a more sustainable approach, I think.

Agree. Those teams haven't done jack. And I'm not saying they have to win the Super Bowl, but they haven't made any real noise either.

Tampa and the Rams just recently did it....

If u can sign a guy that came make a big impact for that 10-15 mil for 1 year you should do it. Having a better chance to win a SB >>> developing some late draft pick.

Tampa and the Rams had top tier QBs. Rams had been doing it for years and was never going over the top until they got Stafford. Brady doesn't even need to be spoken for. Those other things help, but the QB is the #1 factor. It's the reason they made the trade for Trey, whether it works or not, but that is the move to make. And unless we have the right guy under center, we can spend all we want, it won't make a difference in the key moments when a play has to be made and we are up against a Hurts, or Allen, Mahommes, etc.

Good call!

We had CJ Bethard and he went 2-10 or something like that.

The right QB make the system work beautifully like Purdy did - it was uplifting to see it work like that.

Yet we are not listed as a landing spot. What the.
I really don't feel comfortable with the other end spot opposite of Bosa. Wish they would add one of the edges available

Give me Yannick or Houston. I really don't like Ferrell's game, hopefully he proves me wrong.
One down.
