He will be our starter alongside Kinlaw next year imo or at least be first off the bench if AA is back at his normal DT spot. This way we won't have to overpay to keep the solid yet often injured DJ Jones.

Givens is the perfect example of a player with a limited skillset boosted by Kocurek's attacking wide 9 scheme. Put Givens in any other scheme where he's asked to do stuff like hold and read blocks, and he's going to be bad because he's not very big or strong. But you give him one thing to do(attack) that caters to his strengths(get off, quickness, ability to get skinny), and he is a very good player.

Kevin Givens holy moly. Just blasts through the double team to make the run-stop. Arik Armstead with some good push too.

The recent DJ Jones presser he was singing the praises of Givens. Called him twitchy, and said this could be the year he really shines. The whole DJJ interview was great.
