The context is going to make all the difference here and the police report. When is that out? I wouldn't I wouldn't bail on this guy yet he's not a Serial troublemaker like Foster or Alden

that makes absolutely no sense.

if it's a misdemeanor then by definition that means less than 1 year imprisonment.
if the possible sentence is anything over a year, that makes it a felony, not a misdemeanor.

Hope they won't jump the gun and release him too early. These guys are humans too, they're not robots with no feelings or emotions. Sometimes when you're really heated you don't have time to stop and think twice, especially when alcohol and loved ones are involved in the situation.

I got the same assault charge in Maryland for a bar fight like 6 years ago. I got a good lawyer, the case was put on "stet docket" and I just had to stay out of trouble for 3 years or else the charge would get brought back up.

He should be fine.

I live in DC. MD and VA have to the most pettiest laws. They will arrest you for running a red light in VA. Tow your car and some more s**t. The entire state is a huge speed trao

Demeco Ryans identified Givens as one of the players he's excited about going into 2021. That's massive praise from the new DC for a guy who was flying under the radar but already playing well. I thought Givens was the 49ers' best 3tech on the roster last season. If he takes another step forward, watch out.

First he needs to be acquitted, he still likely gets suspended cause the NFL is the NFL Goodell etc.... But I like Givens, hope he gets acquitted, and is back early in the season.

Givens was born to play in the wide 9 with his explosiveness, ability to get skinny and natural leverage. Can't wait to see him out there next season.

Damn that's awesome if it was dropped, I'd still be worried the NFL suspends him. If not, he makes the 53 for sure.
