The good news is if we are lucky enough to get Armstead and Kinkaw back we have a fantastic rotation. He's been good.

I believe Arik will be back, but may need a couple weeks to acclimate. No hope for Kinlaw imo.
Arik alone will elevate this defense even further so If we make the playoffs he will be a beast at the end if he gets healthy.

Hope his injury isn't too bad. Losing Ridgeway last week and now Givens is a big hit to the DT group, after just getting Armstead back. I remember during the offseason we were talking about, "we have so many good DL, let's trade one". Now the team is bringing up practice squad guys just to fill out the active 48.
Hyder also got hurt this TB game. This is getting ridiculous.

And our DTs are playing awesome, frequently eating double blocks controlling running plays with light boxes. This allows us to keep two safeties back e play cover 4 palms a lot. They are a very important part of this amazing defense.

Would really stink to lose him. He's been playing very well lately and would really hurt our DT rotation and depth

Hearing that it's an MCL sprain for 49ers defensive tackle Kevin Givens. His prognosis still is being determined, but a sprained MCL is better than some of the alternatives.
