Yeah it's a joke there. The road game fans are 10x as loud and involved.

its a neutral field, we lost home field since we left candlestick. so f**king dumb they couldnt get something done in SF. I dread finally getting to the playoffs and hosting a game against say the Cowboys or Packers and it being an away game

I know polls and rankings don't really matter, but still... why do most of these rankings have us around 24th, and they have Seattle ranked around 7 or 8. Do they really feel Seattle is that much better than us? It seems we are a lot closer than what all these so called experts think. I know our weakness could be our O Line, but Seattle doesn't have a great O Line either. Just kinda ticks me off.

Because Russell Wilson is an established star, and Jimmy Garrapolo isn't. That's the only reason

I don't think the Packers or the NFC South are all that. The AFC North yes. We'll see this year.
9-7, squeak into playoffs via wildcard, win that game but lose in the divisional game.

Because of the outcome every season, i was at the home opener last year and it was packed & loud. If you win people will show up. Simple as that.
Ward got hurt. Better revise that 11-5 prediction to 3-13.

Just in time too! This baby is about to close.
I demand to know why my 8-7-1 prediction wasn't logged!
9-7, no playoffs , Kyle and John survive

The secondary, not the OL will be the downfall.
Mark me down for 7-9.

I originally thought 9-7 but the latest Ward injury has me concerned.
11-5
We surprise the legue

Sure losses are:

@ LA Rams ...first game with them , there.......sure loser. We aren't ready,...YET.

Packers....altho question of whether new HC and ARodgers can get along...they still seem to have our number

New Orleans....just don't see us beating that freight train this yr. Not yet . If we got a 2nd chance this yr against them... maybe so

@SEA ...winning twice up there in two yrs? Unlikely.

That's 4 Ls.

Then Tampa on E. Coast, and 1st game....that could be L also. Literally we don't have our "stuff" together. Maybe just mass chaos and confusion, altho TB will have same situation.

Baltimore? Could be another L, and they always play tough. Their new QB? Not impressed. We could lose this one too.

Steelers here...Big Ben is getting not just older, but OLD. Love their HC, and before Kyle, always wanted him. He is always tough. Could be loss here.

That would be 3 more Ls bringing us to :

9-7.

So, if Oline shows up, Garland, Garnett, Wes Johnson, Toran, Person (is healthy), Richburg is healthy, Laken continues to improve....okay i could see us with just 4 Ls.

But if not and some of OLine above doesn't make team, or stays injured, then i could see 3 more Ls, bring s to 9-7. Essentially all boils down to Bosa, Dee Ford, and interior OL, plus DBs....and...and.... JG has to be healthy all yr. If all those guys come thru, and that is a lot of IFs, then 12-4.

More likely tho, with injury at C and OG, and replacements are just so so, then : 9-7

Which will it be? IDK, but if we happen to go 12-4, there is no way of knowing how far can we go. Anything is possible, but a run at a ring....pretty long odds....this yr.

A disaster this yr would be that we end up with 19 , or worse, 21 guys on IR. Should that happen a 2nd yr in a row, same record as last yr.

I can't go with 2 predictions, so betting on injuries once again being a problem...but nowhere near as serious as before... i will go officially with:

9-7

We haven't won in Seattle in like 6-7 years. We finally beat them last year in our stadium in like 5 years.

Just to be clear, i have them winning up there, and us winning down here. Splitsville. I didn't see us winning twice in a row up there. And, there is Clowney.
