Like I said when I said 8-8, I'd rather under estimate them and be pleasantly surprised than the opposite like last year.

I picked 11-5. I was way off. No way this team loses five games in the back half.

Barring injury to a key player, of course. If either Bosa or Garoppolo go down, all bets are off.

And hopefully lynch and shanny are kicked to the curb.

If only this could be pinned to the top of each page.

Haven't seen Sus around much lately...

Im right here man. I picked 10-6 last year but was wrong, then this year we never saw bosa in the preseason so you couldn't tell how improved the defense was. I was clearly wrong, just happy to finally watch some winning football.

Do you still want Shanahan and Lynch kicked to the curb?

I'll see what happens the second half of the year but they've earned themselves at least one more year.

That's not what you been saying up in the 24/7 each and every week though. You been hating, so own your words and predictions like Uncle Sherm said and don't be fake up here in NT cuz now we winning.

What would you see happening in the second half that would lead you to consider dumping Kyle or John?

Losing 7-9 games
The fun begins this week. Up until now we have been riding our defense and controlling the ball with our running game. Starting this week we will be facing more explosive offenses. Arizona (2 games) is not a great team but Murrey has shown he can put up some points and they have good receivers. Russell Wilson is always dangerous and we have 2 games against him and the Seahawks. Ravens, Packers, and Saints all have very good offenses and may cause some real problems for our secondary. Packers defense isn't great so that could be a shootout where Jimmy and Kyle really need to open things up. Saints look like the most likely team to beat us since we are playing in the dome and they have offense and defense. Still one more game against the Rams and they would love to wreck our season by knocking us out of the number one seed. Buckle up and hang on.

Losing 7-9 games

Considering the record to this point, what would have to happen in the last half of this season that would result is 7-9 loses that would reflect adversely on John Lynch? On Kyle Shanahan?

Az has a negative point differential of -53, exceeded by only three other teams in the NFC. Barring something crazy, another blowout is coming.

The Saints are the team I am worried about. The D is legit and they have Brees back. There may be a hiccup along the way but I don't see four losses in the second half.

I could see 2 or 3. Finishing 13-3 or 14-2 would probably give us home field advantage. I doubt we go 16-0. I wouldn't want that. Look what happened to the Pats when they did. Lot's of pressure.

I am assuming that is tongue in cheek, Sus?
I said 10-6
Now I think 13-3
