People are forgetting that we won 4 games last year. It wasn't all because of injuries. This roster is still a work in progress with an unproven and thin O line and a defensive backfield still trying to find the right combination. That's 2 very important parts of a football team. They made significant upgrades to the defense (hopefully) with Ford, Bosa and Alexander. They added 2 new receivers. This is the type of team that should really improve in the second half of the season but the schedule gets tougher then. I see 8-8 or 9-7. That's a big jump from last year and I would be happy if it turns out that way. To finish 11-5 or 12-4 we would need every break to fall our way and we would go into the off season thinking we are better than we really are. I've seen that happen many times, most recently with Jacksonville.
7-9

Which one?

The three guys you noted will make a huge difference, particularly Alexander. His speed and coverage ability has been much needed.
I have to assess why we lost as many games as we did last year. Now this list isn't all-inclusive, but I think it hits on the majority:

1. Injuries

Pretty much covers it.

If the OL can stay healthy...

Lack of depth there is the biggest weakness on the team, IMO. The starters will be serviceable to very good, but behind them the cupboard is pretty bare.
10-6 assuming we can avoid longterm injuries to key players, especially Jimmy. I think an improved passrush, better LB play, and stability at the safety position will all lead to a much better defense this year. The offense might take a bit of time to find its groove, but they are capable of becoming a top 10 unit by midseason.
Give me 8-8

I can see a route to 10-6 with good health and Jimmy being who we hope he is but I can also see an injury plagued 6-10 type season so I'm just gonna split the difference.

Okay, in all seriousness now, injuries really were the root of almost all our problems, or they were severely compounding any pre-existing problem we had. If I had to list out the things I saw that were non-injury related, I would include the following:

1. Lack of diversity in defensive schematics.

2. Lack of star talent on the front seven, outside of Buckner.

3. Lack of star talent at WR.

4. Lack of depth across the board. Limited our options for mismatching or to counter mismatches in certain situations. It also meant we had to keep certain players on the field longer than they otherwise should've been, further putting them at risk.

The good thing is, I think we actively addressed almost every issue you could have laid out after last season. From the above, we added Joe Woods who is essentially a co-coordinator helping diversify the back end scheming, along with renowned DL Coach Kocurek to help on the front end. On the front seven, we added Bosa, Ford, Moore and Alexander, and Warner came back looking much improved, as well as a rejuvenated Solomon Thomas. At WR, we added height and/or power with the addition of Hurd, Samuel, and Matthews. We upgraded FS by moving Moore back there. At RB, we upgraded with Coleman over Morris, adding depth to a group who had every member hurt at some point last year.

Schedule seems tougher still and Jimmy will have ups and downs. I think we have the talent to do well, but I'm still with just over .500 with a 9-7 record.
my head says 7-9 but my heart says 9-7.

9-7 is my final answer.
Staying with the initial 11-5
ugh, this is tough. 9-7.

book it.
9- 7
5-11

And hopefully lynch and shanny are kicked to the curb.
