Considering we were just a few points away from being 7-9 last year with all the injuries and almost no pass rush.

• young coach finally burns out

I've think they have done a pretty good job. Each year they do better and better.

Do you like the front seven? Building a D from front to back has been a successful model. Our skill players are so much better than what we had in 2016. Interior OL and secondary needs to be improved and Lynch has had some blunders (every GM does), but he took a team that had nothing of value outside of Staley and Buck, and built a legit playoff contender.

We have way too many guys coming off serious injuries/surgeries.
Offensive line is really bad, especially the depth.
Secondary is arguably worse than the OLine.
Saleh is still the DC.
Aside from Kittle, nobody on offense is a stud at their position. With all the draft capital used on the offense, that is not good.

The best part of our team is the front 7 with Buck, Ford and Warner leading the way. This unit will win us some games. If Bosa and Kwon can recover and dominate, they can be great. But that of course is tbd.
