The three guys you noted will make a huge difference, particularly Alexander. His speed and coverage ability has been much needed.

I've think they have done a pretty good job. Each year they do better and better.

Either 8-8 or 9-7 are realistic. So is 7-9. You can't predict game changing penalties, bad calls, turnovers and blown coverages. Those are the variables that happen every week and the reason predictions are so hard. I agree that the 3 players should make a huge difference but it may take awhile for the defense to jell as a unit. And there will be injuries. We just have to hope that there won't be as many as last year.

Their rebuilt plan has nothing to do with the length of their contracts. Don't expect to be good soon with this management.

Just for the sake of accountability, how many teams have gone from the bottom to the Super Bowl in 3 years or less? Bottom being 2 wins or less.

Even if there was another team, that would still make the odds greatly in favor of it taking more than 2-3 years to build a team capable of going deep into the playoffs.
