cc predicts something negative? THERES A SHOCKER.

How shocking would a road win be?
Does Shanahan have a single road win in his HC career?

Yes.
Hint: One was in Chicago.

Is there a second?

Yes. No hint this time.
Inactives:
- Beathard
- K. Smith
- T. Taylor (injured)
- Hurd (injured)
- J. Taylor
- Exum
- Al-Shaair
Shanahan has 3 road wins: Chicago, Houston, and the LA Rams. All 3 were in 2017 by Jimmy back when he was good.

lol
Man, that trade for Jimmy G saved Shanny's career.
49ers win 16-14 in a sloppy, mistake filled game. Jimmy is rusty and plays a bit scared and finishes 13-30 for 130 yards with 0 TDs and 1 int. Goodwin is our leading receiver with 3 catches for 34 yards. Breida scores a rushing TD and Gould hits 3 FGs including the game winner with 30 seconds left.

Jameis has all day to throw against our defense and Evans and Godwin are open all day, but untimely penalties, overthrows, drops, and a couple of fumbles doom TB's offense.

1-0

Ok, I followed you until the end there. All day to throw? It appears as though Buckner, Bosa, Ford, Armstead, and Thomas will all play.

It's going to be hot and humid. I think we'll be a bit sluggish and tired. Bosa isn't going to play a ton (20-30 snaps) as we let him get back into game shape.

We might get some pressure early, but I think we'll wear down quickly. Our guys just aren't used to playing in 90% humidity.

might have been mentioned in this thread before, but I will never forget the 1997 season opener in Tampa Bay. Jerry Rice went down with a knee injury. Steve Young got hurt too. We lost 13-6. Tony Dungy was leading a resurgent Bucs team. Mooch's 1st game as head coach. We did finish the season 13-3 and found ourselves in the NFC title game

If he doesn't get it, we might have to radio in that we have a problem.......does that count as a hint or not?
What's the word on today's practice?

Just heard Matt Barrows say they weren't allowed to see practice. Either that or they just did chalk board work.

You are probably right. I hope Shanahan leans on the running game after Jimmy throws his 1st pick. I am happy Robbie came back since he is our main offensive weapon

Everyone keeps saying the Bucs oline is trash but it was the Browns they were playing against who have probably the best Dline in football now.

I expect this game to be close and the deciding factor will be our run game. If we can get it going we win.

20-17 49ers come back to win.
