Good thing i'm starting Mike Evans this weekend.

I have Godwin on a Fantasy team, not so sure about starting him as I think Sherm will be on him all day

Week 1: #49ers at #Buccaneers Sunday, 1:25 p.m., PT Referee: Alex Kemp FOX-TV: Kenny Albert, Ronde Barber, Lindsay Czarniak (field reporter)

(At least we got Fox's A team )

anybody but chris meyers is a win

This is very true. Chris Myers is horrific!

i'd rather listen to joe buck, that's how bad meyers is

I liked Kenny Albert with Daryl Johnston. Goose was ok as the sideline guy. Not a bad trio though. Not a fan of Ronde Barber who's probably gonna be a total Bucs homer for this game

I feel you lol.... I wouldn't mind evans dropping a big donut for me in fantasy if that means that witherspoon played so well that he locked him down.

Spoon has got to change his technique - less face guarding and more looking back and playing the ball.

Just mugg him at the line and get called for holding all game long. That would be a better result than him playing straight up
I'm going to get thrown out of this stadium because Im bringing the heat with my Montana jersey to the game. First game for my son and he's rocking the Jimmy G jersey to the game as well. I can't wait for our D Line to absolutely wreak havoc on Winston. We may get 5-6 sacks in this game. Tampa's Oline is terrible!!!! And to think it's going to be Kwon's reunion, you know he's going to show out! If we win by 30, I wouldn't be surprised in all seriousness.

Go, Niners, go!
This is is a classic matchup for 1st game of season. A superb HC in Arians, and a top flite DC. Good OL, Good WR, an erratic QB, good overall D playing upstart OC/HC, with total of 8 Ws to his name, with 4 TEs(one an all pro), 3 excellent WRs, superb OW FB, an OL thot to be a weak link but with returning OTs, OGs, and a new C, until and if Richburg returns. We have a dominant DL, excellent LBs and then one stud CB and 3 ??? At remaining DBs.

On playcalling, the nod goes to Kyle, on experience it goes to Arians, a favorite of many, even here. Winner of this game should be he who wants it most. Oh, forgot qB, where JG really has the advantage but ...is rusty after 8 games in 2 yrs., and none in last 13 games. As for RBs, we have better ones.

Who wins? Really, as goofy as it sounds, it is who wants this game the most. Right now, i would guess the 9ers, but it will take all they have. Better OCing will give us a slight edge, but Arians is nobody's fool. What we need most right now is each and every player getting to know one another. For JG this is doing it all over again. For OL...with new C...we'll see. Perhaps the 4 TEs ends up being the deciding factor in the game...but we'll see.
I hope we don't come out flat, with no energy.

Fantastic! Show your son a great time and be classy Unfortunately, I don't see a huge blowout as:
1) Jimmy will still be rounding into form. I'm expecting something like 14/25, 225 yards and a pick from him.
2) Penalties. I expect 4-5 penalties on the o-line to put us behind the 8-ball on offense on several drives and another 4-5 penalties on D to help the Bucs along and put them into scoring position.
3) Secondary. Our front 7 should be fine, but I worry about the big play on 'Spoon, Ward, and Tartt.
Still, I see Kyle and gang out-scheming the Bucs and us icing the game late with a FG. 26 - 20, 49ers
Niners D has to step up out of the gate, otherwise long day.

This will be the best D-Line we've put on a field since the last SB. You know I'm going to make some great memories with my son. Hopefully, going to get his jersey signed.

That is awesome. How old is your son? Enjoy the game, and thanks for representing.
