This is a must win game for the 49ers for me. If we can't go on the road and beat the Bucs and Bengals then there isn't any thing else to discuss. It's that simple. No excuses.

I was reading an article yesterday that was about ESPN running a sim for the season. It had the 49ers at 11-5 and winning the NFCW. But it had them getting blown out in game 1 by 3 TD's. So at least according to this sim week 1 isn't a must. But the zone would have a meltdown if that week 1 scenario happened.

It's a must win for me. If we can't go to Tampa and win this game then I don't have much faith in us making the playoffs.

Bucs defense doesn't look too bad if you ask me. Sure the 9ers defense honestly looks better on paper but how healthy is the 9ers defense compared to theirs? If Ford and Bosa are healthy I expect them to get at the very least one sack a piece. Not impressed with Donovan Smith and Demar Dotson.
