Don't know who did it but someone did us a big favor by making this a 1:30 game. E coast is bad enough but i like the time change for us.

This! It'll be cooler and our internal clocks will be at 1:30pm PST game, not 10:00am.

I just saw last night where they are staying the week in Youngstown OH after the game. Is anyone going down there to run into the players? There was a thread the last time they went there. I can't find it. I know some people were hanging out at the hotel bar, but I don't think they had much luck. I know where they are staying, where they go to eat, and don't live that far away. It would be cool to run into people there but i don't want to be a tool and stalk them either. Most of the week they are tied up in meetings and practice.

I hope I'm just taking one for the team. I'm going dark at 4:30 PM ET. I have to work from 4:30 ET to about 7:30 ET.....setting my DVR and turning off all contact with the outside world until the game is over.....

I'm going with a 17-3 blowout win by us.
Take an early commanding 7-3 lead at the half. Then finish the game on a scoring spree.
Final 17-3 book it.

My guess is 27-10. Go up 17-3 after the first half with one defensive TD after a strip sack or INT off a ball thrown while being hit. I can see one passing TD, one rushing TD and then 2 drives stall out in the red-zone due to holding or other stupid mistakes. Then give up a TD in garbage time.

If the 9ers do quite often go wide 9 on defense, it seems like that would put a lot of pressure on the inside LBs. There's a whole bunch of things I'm excited to see in this game - Ford and Bosa especially - but seeing how Alexander and Warner do will be one of the bigger things. I'd love to see one of them pick off a Winston pass up the middle.

We'll see how they use it. My guess, is that they'll use it in any 50% or less run situations. So, 1st and 10, 2nd and long, 3rd and medium-long. I expect to see some sort of hybrid front, either an over, under, bear or odd in any 1st and 5(after penalty), 2nd and short, 3rd and short in any base personnel. So, I only expect to see anything other than wide 9, in base, on 1st and 10 if the other team starts running the ball at a high rate on 1st down, on maybe 6-7 plays a game.
The rest will either be in favorable passing odds or in Nickel/Dime/Snickel

My guess for the weekend.
49ers 34 Buccs 20
Boss, Ford, Thomas, each have 1 sack. Buckner gets 2.
Defense forces 2 turnovers, 1 int and 1 fumble
Dante Pettis gets 2 touchdowns and calms everyone's tits.

How tf does the defense give up 4 scoring drives when they have 5 sacks and force 2 turnovers? Just curious .
NFL stats on drives failing after giving up a sack are horrendous. 84% of drives that had a sack, ended in failure.
