Evans is going to abuse him all day I feel

It's a very scary matchup for us. If we don't scheme Witherspoon a lot of help, Evans could easily have a record setting day against our defense.

Record setting day? You're kidding right? Lmao

We don't have anyone that can cover or even slow him down. Arians is going to take advantage of that matchup and Jameis is at least good enough to throw to wide open WRs.

That said, I still have us winning the game 16-14. I think both teams will be very sloppy with their execution and the Bucs will have a handful of turnovers and dumb penalties that Gould is able to turn into just enough points to squeak it out at the end.

I'm excited to see the "new" defense. I know the DC is the same but new fronts, new way to align the LBs with three off the ball, more variety in coverages - that's something new at every level of the defense. They basically overhauled the scheme.

Same.

I'm expecting to see some variation in their base cover 3 assignments. I don't think they'll want Dre Greenlaw in either hook zone in pass defense.

That's assuming we even get enough base snaps to take anything away.

I wanna see our new pass rush and Verrett

That sounds like a potential record setting rushing day for the Bucs. Seems like every time a team revamp the D, that's the first thing to take a hit--the run defense.

I think this game will be a shoot out. Ahrens knows he won't be able to run the ball so they'll be testing our defensive backfield all day long. TB has some good receivers and OJ Howard at TE. It's going to be a test.

I know Shanny would love to play ball control offense and utilize our running game to easy Jimmy G back in but this will be high scoring I think...

I ain't scared of no Buc RB. Who is it? Warrick Dunn? He's old now.

He didn't even put up 100 on dontae johnson and tramaine brock in 2017. Had (2) 5 yard touchdown catches yeah, but if he couldn't break records against that sorry 2017 squad he has no chance against this years. That defense was horrific, just take a look at the starters that game, especially who was rushing the passer. You're blowing this match up out of proportion. I'm not saying Tampa is a horrible team either, it's not going to be a walk in the park, they have solid talent, but this whole record setting thing is ridiculous.
Dee Ford will have 2.5 sacks and FF.
Sherman will have 1 INT

Peyton Barber, who shares a last name with Tiki Barber, the NYG RB who had over 170 combined yards against our defense in the 2002-03 NFC wildcard game. I wouldn't sleep on him.

lol

Lack of communication leaving gaping holes, for Winston's grandma to run through, is what I'm afraid of. She might get 100yds and a TD. Licking her fingers, eating her Ts and her Ds in the endzone

Oh, they have a RB named Peyton Barber. Could be related to Ronde, Tiki, or Manning.
Awesome!
