⛏ SF 49ERS @ TB BUCCANEERS ⛵️ Pregame Thread - 2019 Season Week 1

is it Sunday yet?

Looking forward to seeing our new front 7.
A little concerned about our secondary this week.
Don't know what to expect from Jimmy G.

let's hope we get out of there with a W and no injuries.

It will be an issue for both teams. Like I said, nobody is comfortable in that kind of heat. You're going to sweat and cramp up if you don't hydrate but I'm sure the trainers and players know that. The Niners have 28 players from southern schools. Tampa has 24. I don't see a real advantage for either team unless one has better hydration fluids.

3hrs sitting in that stadium under the FL 95+ degree heat to watch the game is grueling enough. I'd rather stay home or go to a sports bar.

Niners fans complain about 80 or 85 degrees with low humidity. I wonder how many will be in the seats. The Tim McGraw pregame and halftime concert will help.

Like I said...if one team has the advantage I think it's us due to the depth on our DL and WRs. Both positions which tend to go full out.

Tampa WRs are definitely better than ours but our group is stronger overall IMO. Mike Evans is a big dude, if he's playing 100% of their offensive snaps like he normally should not sure if he can do that in that heat the whole game.

DL is where I think it helps us most. They aren't as deep and two big boys in Suh and Vea(coming off injury) may not be able to go all game long.
3 more days!

Justin Evans isn't a starter though right?

Pretty sure he was?

He should, he's a Raiders fan.

This will be a good indication of how well the front office has built the depth. That will go a long ways in determining how close we are to a playoff team. No team can go far without depth since injuries are going to happen as the year goes on.
I really want Kwon Alexander spying Winston on every pass play.

FL's weather is in the 90s like 9 months out of the year. Would not mind living in a milder climate when I can afford it.
